Vista Encantada Resort Cabo Mexico

Vista Encantada all inclusive Resort Los Cabos rooftop infinity pool

All-inclusive resorts are incredibly popular in Cabo Mexico. Having never experienced this luxury, we were determined to try it during our upcoming trip. Enter Vista Encantada Resort in Cabo Mexico, a AAA Four Diamond property owned by Mexico Grand Hotels. They offer an all-inclusive dining plan, but what drew us to this resort was the 13+ restaurants we could dine at and the spectacular rooftop infinity pool.

Resort Grounds

Vista Encantada‘s hill-side location makes it the ideal place to catch cinematic views of the Pacific Ocean. The first thing you’ll notice upon arriving at Vista Encantada are the soaring ceilings in the lobby and the art that adorn the walls. They’re both tasteful and modern. After receiving a brief virtual tour of the property with welcome drinks in hand, we made our way up to our suite.

We opted for all-inclusive plan, which gives unlimited access to food and drinks at the 13+ restaurants on property. The all-you-can-eat plan is exceptional! Expect luxurious seafood like lobster and scallops, cocktails, sushi, pizza, and tacos (you can read more about everything we ate in the food section below).

If the all-inclusive is not up your alley, you can opt for the European Plan (which is the room only). If you booked the European Plan, you may purchase an All-Inclusive day pass during check-in.

We stayed in a Two Bedroom Swim-up Vista Villa. The ocean-facing private pool on the balcony was one of the highlights of our stay.

The Pools

There are numerous pools on property. As a guest, you have access to all of them, including the pools at Hacienda Encantada (the sister property located within the grounds). Our favorite pool was the rooftop infinity pool on the top floor of Vista Encantada. The large, open-air swimming pool with white columns was very reminiscent of Greek architecture. For a moment, we were transported to a rooftop in a Greek island!

Mestizo del Mar restaurant located on the rooftop, adjacent to the pool. They offer fresh coconuts, cocktails, and all-day dining. Order your food poolside to pair it with the incredible ocean view.

Experiences

Spa & Wellness

The Milagra Spa at Vista Encantada Resort Los Cabos offers exclusive treatments for ultimate relaxation. They have anything from massages, to hot-stone therapy, to exfoliation. Purchasing any spa treatment also gives you full access to the spa amenities: the pool, jacuzzis, saunas, and baths. The spa also has a full hair, makeup, and a nail salon.

Couples Massage

We opted for a couples massage by the ocean to treat ourselves. It was every bit as relaxing and magical as it looks. There’s something about the gentle hum of the ocean, it instantly puts me to bliss.

Horseback Riding

Horse back riding in Cabo is a very popular activity. There are tour groups that offer this for upwards of $100 per person. At Vista Encantada, horse-back riding is free! It’s one of the many complementary experiences that the resort offers. Be sure to reserve it in advance with the concierge because spots fill up rapidly. The experience lasts approximately 1 hour.

Temazcal

Temazcal is a traditional low-heat Mayan sweat lodge. It’s like a 90-minute sauna. The heat and herbs used in Temazcal is believed to offer therapeutic benefits to heal the body. During the experience, guests enter a small igloo-shaped hut. A shaman pours water over a pit of hot rocks and herbs to produce a thick sauna-like vapor. The Temazcal experience at Vista Encantada is complementary! It was a cathartic experience. We not only sweat out our toxins but also shared who we are with the group and what we hope to achieve.

Fitness Center

The fitness center at Vista Encantada is what gym dreams are made of. They have everything you need: from cutting edge equipment, to a squat rack, to weights. Best part, the floor-to-ceiling windows offer sweeping views of the ocean.

Restaurants and All-Inclusive Plan

The highlight of our stay at Vista Encantada were the restaurants on property. The 13+ restaurants offer every cuisine and dish one could think of: Japanese, Italian, Seafood, Mexican, smoothie bar, cafe. With the all-inclusive plan, we bounced around all the restaurants numerous times of the day, sampling a little bit from each place.

Rooms

We stayed in a Two Bedroom Swim-up Vista Villa. The suite can house up-to 6 guests, and comes with a King bed and a second bedroom with two Queen beds, a full kitchen, two and a half bathroom, sitting and dining area, and a private balcony with grill area and swimming pool. The bathroom is luxurious, with a standalone bath tub and dual rainfall showers. Click to see a virtual tour of the room. The views from the room are unparalleled.
