There are 74 suites on the property and they all come with butler service. Best part, every room has an ocean view with a balcony to enjoy the stunning crystal-clear Jamaican waters. There are 11 room categories at this resort, with the top one being the three-bedroom Villa Plantana.
Villa Plantana is breathtaking with its large private pool. Staying there gives you golf privileges at the nearby Sandals Golf & Country Club, along with a full staff, and butler. You can dine in the villa or patio and swim in your own private pool.
The All-Butler Experience
One of the standout features of Sandals Royal Plantation is the butler service. Having a friendly and professional butler dedicated for us really made our stay easy. They unpacked our bags, brought us drinks on the beach, reserved our dinner spots, and much more. This unparalleled level of service really made us feel pampered. Communication with our butler was super easy with the dedicated smartphone provided.
The Pools
We woke up early to catch the sunrise at the pool. The soft sunlight glow was gorgeous. It was great having seats reserved for us by our butler.
Food, Caviar, Champagne, and Afternoon Tea
Sandals Royal Plantation is an all-inclusive resort which means endless fresh food at all hours of the day. They have 5 restaurants and 2 bars on the property. Breakfast is a buffet of fresh fruits, eggs, baked pastries, and traditional Jamaican dishes. Lunch is offered at the main restaurant of at the beach-side restaurant. We opted to get our lunch delivered to our beach cabana and enjoyed it with the pretty views of the beach. For dinner, be sure to make an advance reservation at the French restaurant, the food is incredible!
Sandals Royal Plantation is also the only Sandals that has a caviar bar with Champagne service! Nothing spells vacay for us than a bottle of Veuve Clicquot and fine caviar. They also have afternoon tea by the beach, it’s the perfect way to unwind after a day in the sun.
Stay at One, Play at Two
A unique perk of staying at Sandals Royal Plantation is the “Stay at One, Play at Two” privilege. This means you have full access to the restaurants, bars, and amenities at Sandals Ochi nearby. Frequent complimentary shuttles make it a breeze to switch between the two resorts.
